Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the continued SOC 2 compliance by closely collaborating with internal teams and utilizing compliance platforms such as Vanta.
- Take the lead in responding to customer security questionnaires, ensuring accurate and timely communication by gathering relevant information from various teams.
- Oversee the preparation for SOC 2 audits, which includes evidence collection, auditor coordination, and the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation related to security processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Actively seek opportunities to enhance our security and compliance initiatives, implementing improvements to bolster our overall security posture.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in security compliance with a focus on SOC 2 compliance and managing security questionnaires.
- Profound understanding of SOC 2 requirements, with experience using compliance platforms like Vanta.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented mindset, particularly in the documentation of processes and compliance issues.
- Familiarity with audit processes, including evidence collection and collaboration with external auditors to achieve compliance objectives.
- A proactive approach to identifying security and compliance needs, with a knack for proposing and executing effective solutions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years in the field of security compliance, notably in SOC 2 compliance.
- Proven expertise in managing security questionnaires and navigating compliance frameworks.
